Community Outreach Coordinator

(Marketing Department) job site will be at Kahala Nui (4389 Malia St.)

Part-time, 20 hours/week – Flexible hours, but must be able to work on Saturdays

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing a variety of outreach and marketing activities to promote our new senior wellness center, Live Well at Iwilei (888 Iwilei Rd.).

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Community Outreach, normal duties may include:

  • scheduling and conducting presentations at organizations and community meetings;
  • overseeing a Saturday “Spring to Wellness” program at the Live Well at Iwilei center;
  • assisting with Marketing’s special events such as holiday events;
  • administrative duties such as updating a database of sales calls and collateral mail outs;
  • providing monthly reporting on sales and marketing contacts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  One year of experience conducting successful community outreach
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of computer programs including MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Must be able to travel to various outreach activities on Oahu

This is a temporary position as we focus on the initial marketing of our new Live Well at Iwilei senior wellness center but may lead to a regular-part-time position.
