The Account Manager is one our valued positions within the company. Account Managers are responsible for the overall performance and daily management of one or more assigned physician clients.
We are looking for an individual who is a Client Advocate to join TeamPraxis as one of our vital team members. As the Account Manager you will be asked to develop meaningful and value added relationships with our customers; prepare weekly reports, and advise clients on cash flow projections and practice trends. Your primary purpose is to establish solid business partnerships and provide exceptional quality service for our Clients by utilizing your excellent analytical and problem solving skills, and identifying and anticipating client needs.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred, or high school diploma with significant healthcare experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience and familiarity with medical billing terminology
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles; such as debits and credits
Responsibilities:
Our position allows you to contribute in the following ways:
- Utilize your customer relations skills to establish and maintain positive, long-term relationships with Clients.
- Resolve client issues by providing effective follow-up to ensure appropriate client satisfaction.
- Leverage your understanding of the healthcare market to analyze relevant information within patient or other revenue cycle data.
- Identify areas of improvement by conducting quarterly annual reviews of assigned clients to identify any additional services the clients may benefit from as a business partner.
- Use your technical knowledge and expertise in Medical Billing to understand patient access, healthcare revenues, reimbursements and the correlation of the data to the monthly financial statements.
- Apply your organizational skills to process weekly reports – delinquent accounts, bad address report, pending review action requests and working all action request responses from the office.
- Leverage your interpersonal communication skills to collaborate and work cooperatively with other departmental managers to promote relationships internally.
- Utilize your understanding of medical billing and organization skill to perform follow up on outstanding claims to maximize appropriate reimbursements.
- Utilize your exceptional communication and time management skills to independently host monthly and quarterly client meetings to ensure goals are met.
