Job Description
The Diamond Head Coffee Company, located at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel, is seeking motivated Barista!
We are currently offering part-time/on-call positions and are looking to start right away! We are open 7 days a week from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Our new location will be open 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) from 6:00 a.m. – 7p.m. Shifts may start as early as an hour before the doors open and end as late as an hour after closing.
Job Responsibilities include:
– Prepares quality coffee and tea beverages and food for all customers.
– Performs cashiering transaction functions for all customers
– Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
– Assists in other related duties as needed such as equipment cleaning/washing and any related duties by the manager.
Requirements
– Prior Cashiering experience
– Prior experience as a Barista or similar position (preferred but not required)
– Ability to work as part of a team and with little or no supervision.
– Must be able to work in a fast paced environment during busy periods
– Friendly and have the ability to build strong customer relationships for future business.
