Job Description
The Dishwasher’s role is to create the energy and vibe that makes The Counter® unique.
This includes a strong passion and motivation to create great food and a hospitality driven attitude. Must be fun, professional, friendly, dynamic, and able to multitask and take initiative in a guest service focused environment.
Job Duties:
Responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as (but not limited to) properly cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies.
Assists with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
Responsible for handling all foods, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning and preparation.
Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in food service/hospitality desired
Must be a minimum of 18 years old
High School diploma or GED preferred
Customer service focused and solution oriented
Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
Food handler’s card may be required according to local and or state regulations
