Job Title:      Fleet, Facilities, Safety, Training Coordinator

Location:      Honolulu, Hawaii

Overtime:      Occasional, non-exempt

Shift:              Generally, Monday through Friday

 

General Purpose of Job

 

To effectively coordinate fleet, facilities, safety maintenance, repair, and training within the Company to ensure the utmost in safety and compliance while achieving operational goals with a concern for cost benefit to the Company through professional, responsive and effective communication and efficient job processes.

Essential Duties

 

  1. Fleet and Facilities:
    • Effectively trouble-shoot mechanical and safety issues with fleet and facilities using working knowledge of equipment
    • Sustain an effective fleet and facilities maintenance schedule, including coordination and scheduling of repairs and maintenance
    • Properly prioritize and organize repairs and maintenance
    • Effective utilization of reports in order to coordinate, organize and communicate
    • Regularly monitor, track, and report facilities, equipment and fleet maintenance and repair activity and cost
    • Facilities
      1. Assist with maintaining all facilities in accordance with all regulatory standards
      2. Conduct periodic inspections, identify deficiencies or hazards and address areas of attention accordingly
    • GPS
      1. Maintain the GPS system
      2. Develop a mastery of the GPS system in order to achieve system expert knowledge
  • Ensure all GPS devices are in working order
  1. Training:
    1. Assist with maintenance of training library of current resources
    2. Assist with development, preparation and conducting personnel training and safety meetings
  • Conduct CDL driver road evaluations and assessments
  1. Safety
    • Assist with ensuring compliance with all safety related regulatory agencies at the Federal, State and City & County levels

 

Qualifications; (R) Required or (P) Preferred

 

Experience:     Minimum 2 years related business experience (R)

Minimum 2 years CDL driving experience (R)

Education:       High school diploma or equivalent (R)

College (P)

Skills:               Fluency in English (oral and written) (R)

Effective oral and written communication (R)

Ability to listen and follow instructions (R)

PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (R)

Ability to work in a team environment (R)

CDL A license and ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (R)

Working mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles (R)

Ability to understand and work in a computer database (P)

Type 40+ wpm (P)

Detail oriented

Ability to multi-task
