IT Support Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join the IT Department at Arcadia Community Services.
The position is Full Time (40 hrs. per week) and the successful applicant must be available to work during the business hours of 8am – 4pm, Monday through Friday.
A summary of key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provides all levels of technical support to all staff in addition to residents, members and the community.
• Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and supports end-user hardware and software
• Performs routine tasks such and updates and preventive maintenance on workstations.
• Configures workstation user accounts and provides introductory training sessions to new employees
• Provides additional end-user software training as needed
• Maintains and updates all IT related documentation
• Applies patches and performs systems upgrades to improve security as needed
• Provides on-call technical support as needed
The Successful Applicant must have:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university and at least 1-2 years working experience in IT
• Basic hardware and software troubleshooting skills; basic experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN; Mac OS 9 and above; Office Suite 2010 and above; Windows 7; Windows Server 2008 and above
